Lorena Lowe has had a love for art since early on in her life. It wasn’t until the pandemic that she turned to painting as an outlet and spent numerous hours in front of a canvas, creating a more colorful world in a time of uncertainty. Together with her sister, Lucy, a retired art teacher, Lorena and Lucy wanted to share the love of art and the relief of anxiety which helped start La Buena Paint Parties with the assistance of Lorena’s two daughters, Natalia and Alicia. La Buena Paint Parties now offers classes to encourage others to discover their creative side.
